About our home

Our penthouse apartment has an open plan design with floor to ceiling windows throughout, offering lots of natural light. A south facing roof terrace, offers unobstructed views & all day sunshine with comfortable outdoor seating , gas fire pit & hot tub.
We have created the space to be a calm & stylish setting for modern life.

The apartment layout is all on one floor. 2 bedrooms, family style bathroom, and open plan living/dining room, breakfast bar & kitchen. The roof terrace runs alongside the living/dining & kitchen further adding to the spacious open plan style.

Oak flooring with underfloor heating, in reception areas, hallways, kitchen/living space. Bedrooms are carpeted with radiators with separate thermostats in each room.

Bedrooms:
2 decent size bedrooms. Master bedroom with king size bed & egyptian cotton linens. Second bedroom is currently being used as a functional space, with home office (screen, desk & office chair) & comfortable single day bed that can be that turned down into king size bed.

Bathroom:
One family style bathroom consisting of bathtub with overhead rain shower. Underfloor heating & heated towel rail.

Living/Dining Space:
Solid oak dining table suitable for up to 6 people.
Sky (sports & movies), Netflix TV entertainment package
Sonos sound system

Kitchen & Utility cupboard:
The kitchen is fully stocked with all that you need to have a very comfortable stay, additional appliances are kept in the cupboards.

You will have access to the communal garden which has outdoor seating area amongst the typical English country garden design.

Cleaning:
Our cleaner comes once a week, however can be arranged to come more frequent should you request*. (*this will be at an additional cost)

Other things to note:
We have a small dog & although we try our best to ensure the apartment is kept to the highest standards for your stay, you may find a few stay dog hairs here & there. Please be aware of this if you have any allergies.

Hot tub only available between April - September

Our apartment is on the 2nd floor, with no lift access.

Off street parking can be arranged at an additional fee. This must be arranged ahead of your stay, otherwise pay & display parking is available Monday - Saturday.

Our local milkman delivers fresh milk & other goodies Mondays, Wednesday & Fridays. If you require this please send a request through so I can arrange this for you ahead of your stay for a small additional charge.

The Local Area, Right on Your Door Step:
The property is located in Tooting, South West London.
The area is within zone 3 for london transport links.

Tooting today is a thriving hotspot of independent shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and the best of a modern urban lifestyle. It’s an area that retains its spirit and enjoys a real mix of traditional family life side-by-side with a fresh young feel.

On your doorstep is a bustle of coffee shops and cocktail bars, plus two longstanding indoor markets full of independent restaurants & test kitchens of the up & coming new London restaurants.
Leisure life includes the green spaces/parks of Tooting Commons & the art deco Tooting Bec Lido, the UK’s largest outdoor swimming pool.

As well as the many great restaurants & bars around, Tooting is also home to the “The Big London Bake” a spin off of the famous reality TV show “The Great British Bake Off.”

St George’s Hospital is a short walk/drive away.

Transport links:
Lark House is a few minutes’ walk from Tooting Broadway, Station, in zone three on the Underground’s Northern line.

Just a few hundred metres in the other direction, you’ll find National Rail links at Tooting railway station to London Bridge,
Blackfriars, Farringdon, St Pancras and northwards on to Luton, as well as south to Sutton via Wimbledon.

Wimbledon - 5 mins direct
London Bridge - 20 mins direct

The area is very well connected & easy to navigate into the heart of London. I would recommend downloading Citymapper app for easy to use navigation & journal/route planner.

Once you’re in the heart of London all the iconic sites are easy to reach. Tate Modern, St Paul’s Cathedral, Borough Market, London’s South Bank for the London Eye, The Shard, Convent Garden, just to name a few.

Just a 10 minute drive from the property, you’ll find grounds of the iconic Wimbledon Tennis Championships & welcomes day visitors outside of the championships to enjoy the grounds.
