About our home

NOTE: We are NOT interested in swaps in London or other parts of the UK.

Converted just over 5 years ago this traditional space has a spacious and light-filled contemporary feel. It is an 'upside down' house with the main living area upstairs accessed via a large sliding glass door from the terrace with views over Longcombe Valley.

The house is less than 5 minutes from Totnes and the River Dart and we are some 25 minutes from Dartmoor and 15-30 minutes from the sea depending on where you choose from nearby locations. We are about 40 minutes drive from the beautiful coastal town of Salcombe and the cities of Exeter and Plymouth.

There are so many places to visit in this area of exceptional natural beauty and so many activities available regardless of the season. Summer is busy with many visitors; outside the summer season it is much quieter and, we find, just as special.

For a swap arrangement (sorry, not points), the ideal period we can work with is one week - this may well suit those who are visiting the UK and want to divide their time between Devon and other areas such as London. For our other property, an adjoining 1 bedroom self-contained property, we can do a minimum of 2 nights.
