Holiday cottage by the sea, non simultaneous swaps welcome and could give two weeks for one for the right offer. Completely refurbished in 2014 and awarded Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence for the last 3 years 2017, 2018, 2019 with Air BnB Superhost status awarded from April 2019 onwards
Five minutes walk to Troon's glorious south beach, golf courses and train stations and ten minutes to the town centre and a wide range of individual shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Situated in a picturesque, secluded and very quiet street in this very popular seaside town which is a regular home to the British Golf Open and is the ideal base to explore the Ayrshire coast, Burns Country and the unique attractions of Glasgow and Edinburgh. The island of Arran and Loch Lomond are all within easy reach. Staying for a few weeks? head to London only 4.5 hours by train from Glasgow or visit the Scottish highlands and islands for incomparable and unforgettable scenery.
The main bedroom has a king size bed and faces the front of the house. The second bedroom has two single beds. Both bedroom feature original tiled fireplaces. A pull out bed can be set up in the main bedroom or lounge to accommodate a fifth person.
Although centrally heated throughout the lounge features a newly installed art nouveau real coal fire place for that ultimate cozy experience on a chillier evening. There is a 32 inch HD tv with freeview, a dvd player with large supply of movies and unlimited wi-fi. Having done a couple of swaps now we think it's worth pointing out that while we are professional in our approach- you will find everything you will need in our house and more and it will be your home for your stay, no restrictive rules and flexible arrival and departure. days and times.
There is a driveway for off street parking. The rear garden is a suntrap in summer and is secure for pets who are very welcome.
The house is a second home which has been available for a holiday let since July 2014 therefore as stated non simultaneous swaps are available. We have been gratified by our five star review record across multiple rental sites..
So try Troon for an authentic Scottish holiday within reach of everything the country has to offer but be warned there is no rush hour here and the peace and quiet may be overpowering!

There is loads to do in this area .. walking, visits to historical sites, golf, lovely places to eat. Murray was great to deal with, very hospitable and the house was perfect for our needs… home from home. ”
“Murray's traditional bungalow is 5 minutes from the beach and Troon was a great place to base ourselves for a restful week in this part of Scotland. We visited local attractions and spent a day at Loch Lomand only an hour's drive away. Murray was very communicative and helpful throughout. We enjoyed cozy pub meals and an excellent Sunday lunch overlooking the harbour. Some great walks from the house and the locals are really friendly. If you want to unwind this is a great place to book for a swap. ”
