About our home

Our stunning Victorian home was completely refurbished in 2013 and is modern, bright, spacious with stunning sea views. Close to the popular Victorian Spa town of Ventnor with its beaches, restaurants and very own microclimate, this beautifully presented property has a formal dining room, study/games room, lounge, snug, modern kitchen with all amenities, two bathrooms, separate WC, large lawned back garden and seating area, hot tub, barbecue and patio area, garage with bikes, and another garden to the front from where you can sit and watch the yachts sail by. Nearby attractions include Ventnor Botanic Gardens, St. Catherines Lighthouse and Steephill Cove. Dog friendly cove just ten minutes walk from the house.

  1. We are a family of six, two adults and four children from 15years old-1 month.

  2. Lots of child-friendly things to do at our holiday home.

  3. We love travelling, have no pets and very well behaved children.

The Pond Cafe, Bonchurch and The Hamborough Ventnor (Michelin Star Restaurant) for special occasions

The Spyglass, good grub, great beer and good atmosphere, on Ventnor Esplanade, in a most enviable position overlooking the English Channel.

Bit of culture
Osborne House - "It is impossible to imagine a prettier spot" - such were the words of Queen Victoria after her first visit to Osborne House on the Isle of Wight. No trip to the island would be complete without a visit to this royal seaside palace where Queen Victoria lived with her beloved Prince Albert and their nine children.
Walks in the park
Ventnor Botanial Gardens Nestling in the microclimate of The Undercliff, Ventnor Botanic Garden on the Isle of Wight has a subtropical and exotic plant collection unrivalled elsewhere in the UK and two lovely cafes.
Spot of exercise
Take the coastal path walk to secret Steephill Cove, then reward yourself with a fresh sandwich at The Crab Shed.
Day tripping
The Needles - Our world famous coloured sand cliffs overlook the Isle of Wight’s most famous landmark – The Needles Rocks and Lighthouse. The Needles Park offers a range of attractions including the spectacular chairlift to the beach, Alum Bay Glass and Sweet Manufactory; the perfect packed day out for all the family.
