We live in a tradition English Georgian style home with all the usual modern creature comforts. Our home is divided into 3 apartments of which 1 is available as one holiday destination for one family throughout the year. There are 2 double bedrooms both with en suite plus an extra bathroom, a lounge/dining room, fully equiped kitchen and laundry facilities. This apartment is on the first floor. There is a large balcony off the second bedroom which catches the afternoon and evening sun and is perfect for warm weather barbecues.
Our home is comfortable and quiet - a true home from home.
We are surrounded by normal nice friendly neighbours. We have two great local pubs, the Magazine and the Pilot Boat only 3 minutes walk away and an array of restaurants and the Marine Parade within easy walking distance (20 mins) where there is a theatre, a multi complex cinema, bowling alley, large crazy golf facility and tennis courts. We are a short car/bus/train journey away from the wonderful city of Liverpool - one of the friendliest cities on the planet.
If you have never been to Liverpool you are in for a treat - it is a wonderful place to visit, the people of Liverpool have a reputation for their friendly demeanour and good humour.
We are located on the Wirral Peninsular (Viking territory) on the other side of the River Mersey to Liverpool. We are also just 30 minutes from the ancient Roman city of Chester... and 30 minutes from Chester Zoo and the local Seaworld attraction.
There are numerous shopping centres both in Liverpool and Chester, 2 race courses and 2 cathedrals, take your pick - pray or gamble or combine the two, and of course we also have Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields on our door step.
Who doesn't know that Liverpool is home of the Beatles and many other famous 60's bands? ... and home of the famous 'Ferry Across the Mersey' (Jerry and the Pacemakers) - We are ten minutes by car away from a Mersey Ferry ride.
We are 3 minutes from our promenade for walks, runs or bike rides and the beach and a 5 minutes walk from Vale Park, with its incredible fairy glen
There are 2 TVs situated in the lounge and 1 bedroom with lots of TV channels... never counted how many but must be half a million by now. Plus Sky and netflix and the Internet of course.
We are 45 minutes from either Manchester or Liverpool airports, 45 minutes from North Wales. 1hr 40 mins from the Lake District and London is a 2hr 10 min train journey away.
There is no shortage of things to do in and around Liverpool, which has the second most listed buildings (after London) in Britain. The Wirral Peninsular is not overly populated and traffic jams are a rarity which means you have easy access by car to an array of fascinating locations. We are 2 hours away from Snowdonia (national park in Wales)
Our home is 10 minutes from the ferry terminal where you can catch the ferry to Northern Ireland.
