About our home

Our lovely home is set right at the edge of sleepy, ancient Epping Forest, with an acre of garden that backs on to open farm land. In a magical setting. Not far from London underground and transport via the M25. There is plenty to do in the forest, lovely golf course next door, biking, hiking, country walks, horse riding school just next door, picnics, fine country pubs etc. Loughton and Waltham Abbey are the nearest towns (5min by car), London city center is just 15 min down the underground train from Loughton with its myriad and countless attractions and expansive culture. On the way there is Stratford Westfield huge Shopping centre for 2012 Olympics. The M25 motorway which links to the entire country is just 5 min drive away. Our house is a relaxing, yet well connected retreat that offers a very flexible holiday home for a family.

More about us

  1. We a family of six, two girls, two boys, a kitten and a granny that sometimes stays in bungalow in garden, Children are boisterous and run around so we have a minimal approach to household furniture. Eldest daughter is 9yrs, twin boy girl at 4 yrs and a baby of 1 yrs.

  2. We both worked in IT, but I am a mother and housewife now, loving the slow lane. I studied architecture before IT. We both care about the forest and trees around us and have a veggi patch and a small wild life meadow at the back of the garden.

  3. We love the great outdoors, garden and free open space, Our home reflects this openness, .In summer we are busy with the garden mowing, weeding and putting up the paddling pool and the barbi. In colder weather we are hiking, walking and making trips to the great city of London via the underground in near Loughton.
