Our home is a 3 Bedroom Detached house on a small estate of 18 houses, in the rural village of Upwey. Only 8 years old its still feels new, big windows let in lots of light, its nicely decorated with a modern look, which feels warm and inviting, we have a small private back garden with a decking area facing west, lovely evenings watching the sun go down. Supermarkets are a short drive away, larger shops in Weymouth and Dorchester, main road to the West Country just 5 minutes away.

“I would recommend Mick and Pauline as great house swappers. Their home was spotless, comfortable, with all modern conveniences, a lovely garden and a wonderful position between Dorchester and Weymouth. There is so much to do and see near by, plus spectacular scenery. Cliff top walks, old pubs, historical places, near to local airports Bristol and Bournemouth for European trips. The train to London is nearby making it an easy place to get to. Mick left lots of information and maps regarding the area, and was in communication many times prior to our arrival. Nothing was too much trouble. Our home was left immaculate and a pleasure to return to. We met up prior to our return to Australia and had a lovely lunch and discussion regarding our holidays. We were all very happy, the swap had exceeded all our expectations. Chris and Brian”
Ideally placed for touring the South West of England, Devon can be reached by car in 1 hour, and Cornwall within 2, Weymouth is a Georgian seaside town famous for its fishing harbour, marina, and lovely sandy beach, the town has Pubs, Clubs, and Restaurants many overlooking the harbour. The county town of Dorchester renowned for the writer Thomas Hardy, and Roman History is all within a 10 minute drive. The city of Salisbury with its Cathedral is 1 hour away, and London 2 hours. We have excellent sea and fresh water fly fishing, Golf, Bowls, Sailing at Portland (recently hosting the Olmypic games) walk along our Jurassic coastline and enjoy our Dorset Countryside its beautiful.
