About our home

Our beautiful,characterful house has been fully renovated in 2015.It is very spacious with 5-6 bedrooms,5 bathrooms 4 sitting rooms and a large open kitchen/ living/ dining area which opens onto a lovely raised terrace which is great for outside dining.It also has a safe private garden with a good lawn area for games.We are a 5 minute walk from a fascinating ,historical cathedral city with many restaurants,bars good cinema and theatre. The train station is a 5 minute walk away and you can be in London in under an hour. We also have great access to the coast (20 mins) and are surrounded by amazing countryside - great for cycling and walking. We have a TV/ movie room good Wifi access and cable tv- with 3 good size TV screens. We have a weekly cleaner.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

We are within a 5 minute walk of Winchester City centre and the train station. We have a secluded garden with a lovely terrace looking out over the city.

Buzzy restaurants
Winchester is reknowned for its range of excellent restaurants- there really is an huge selection of good quality eateries and of course access to many a beautiful country pub!
Cool bars
There are a number of bars with excellent live music.
Cozy cafés
Cafe culture is thriving in Winchester/ my favourite being Forte tea rooms!
Bit of culture
So much history in our area including Winchester cathedral, The Round Table,Stonehenge, Portsmouth Historic Docks and the Mary Rose all in easy reach
Spot of exercise
Walking and cycling are extremely popular and there are many excellent beautiful local routes including the South Downs Way.
Day tripping
London, Oxford,Cotswolds,Bath, Salisbury all within easy reach!
