Windsor is the home of Queen Elizabeth and the grounds of Windsor Castle, incorporating the Long Walk and the Great Park, are open to the public. The River Thames runs through the town, so walking and boating are prized activities. There are modern shops, restaurants and bars, and Windsor Theatre, which shows many pre-West End productions. There are two railway stations giving easy access to London or anywhere else in the country. Just across the bridge from Windsor is the historic town of Eton with its famous college and a wealth of antique shops and cafes. Windsor is a prime tourist attraction and is only a fifteen minute drive from Heathrow Airport.

Grahame and Sandra Walker are recently retired property developer and solicitor respectively. Sandra grew up in Sydney and is keen to return for an extended visit to see old friends and family. They have lived in Windsor for ten years and enjoy its sense of history combined with its vibrancy as a major tourist town. They enjoy walking, exploring antique shops and the theatre. They regularly visit London to go to music concerts, art exhibitions and sporting events. They are very interested in sport and have recently taken up golf.
