“Lovely spot. Pretty English country garden. Quaint house. Lovely beaches nearby and pub in walking distance.”
“We had a wonderful stay at Paul and Tracey’s home in Winterbourne Kingston. This trip lined up very last minute when other plans this Summer changed. We were looking for a trip on home turf with our kids and in-laws. Having stayed in Dorset before Paul’s home immediately stood out because of its size, comfort and location to many of Dorset’s attractions like Durdle Door, Corfe Castle and (the one and only) Monkey World. From the very first contact our experience with these hosts was flawless. The trip was confirmed within 24 hours and when we arrived Paul had prepared a fantastic local crib sheet (and with each location a recommendation the their favourite pub!). Their home was spotless and incredibly comfortable. Tracey had gone to the effort of pulling out some of her own children’s favourite toys and books for the kids. We enjoyed many family meals on their beautifully landscaped terrace. The nights we didn’t want to cook were spent over the road at The Greyhound - a pub with very friendly service and a large terraced garden as charming as the interior. A keen runner, Paul took time to talk me through some safe and scenic trails through local woods and fields. As Summer ‘staycations’ go, this was a top notch choice. Even after we left, a precious stuffed dog left behind in the rush to pack the car was discovered and returned the same week. Huge thanks to Paul and Tracey for your kindness and efforts to ensure a home from home experience. ”
“Paul’s home is set in the most ideal location for exploring Dorset. Surrounded by picturesque countryside, the coast is only a half an hour drive away and there was plenty to keep 2 adults and 3 boys aged between 3 and 10 occupied. In our week’s stay, we explored Studland, Corfe Castle, Durdle Door, Dorset Water Park, Swanage and Monkey World. On the one wet morning, we even found a huge indoor soft play on an industrial estate outside Blandford! There are several farm shops nearby to stock up on provisions and Milton Abbas is well worth a visit. The house was comfortable and spacious with a beautifully-maintained, private garden for relaxing in after a day on the beach. Thank you for welcoming us to your home Paul!”
“Pauls home was truly welcoming & spotless! We loved our week & spent hours on Studland Beach. We also loved the ferry ride to Brownsea Island & had a wonderful guided tour around the Island.Returning home in the evening was always a pleasure & on the lazy days we only had to walk across the road to eat at the local pub.We loved touring the area which has so much to offer all ages.We certainly would love to return again.Thank you”
“Love to see them again!”
“Nous avons eu avec Paul une relation simple et très efficace. Il s’est parfaitement bien occupé de notre maison. Je serais heureux de l’accueillir une prochaine fois, et je le recommande vivement.”
