We have agreed a swap for the summer 2018, but are open to proposals for the summer 2019
Two fully functioning houses joined together plus an annex. Lovely, peaceful location on a heath, but just 10 min drive to the nearby towns Woking or Guildford and 35 minutes journey by train to London Waterloo. Excellent set up for families with children, or for 2-3 groups of people holidaying together.
A large house (two 3/4 bedroom houses joined together, but can function separately). Sleeps 11, all in bedrooms and a separate studio, so the lounges are free to use anytime. Extra 2 people can sleep on a sofa-bed in the main bedroom and another 2 on the corner sofa-bed in one of the lounges. There are also two sofa-beds downstairs in the studio so if needed 4 extra people can be accommodated there. There is also a kitchenette and a shower room in the studio.
The four bedroom house has a kitchen with a breakfast bar and an adjoining utility room (washing machine + tumble dryer), a large lounge with a dining table and 3D Internet TV. Downstairs there is a toilet/shower room and upstairs there is a bathroom (bath+shower), three bedrooms and a dressing room.
Downstairs, there is an opening leading to the 3 bedroom house through a ‘boot room’. This leads to a large modern kitchen/dining room with BOSCH appliances, including steam oven and a bean-to-cup coffee machine. There is a small TV/Playstation lounge with a corner sofa which adjoins a playroom. Upstairs there is a family bathroom and two bedrooms (1 single bedroom and a double bedroom with a kingsize bed) plus a study.
There is a Wi-Fi Internet connection throughout the house. There are gardens surrounding the property with various seating areas, a masonry bbq, a climbing frame, a fully enclosed trampoline, a basketball hoop and a garden swing. Four bikes are also available (2 adult, 2 children).
There is woodland directly in front of the house with a place for a bonfire and a barbecue which lowers onto the fire. The area is beautiful and secluded, set within a protected area of heathland with only a handful of houses nearby, with wild deer and pheasants roaming outside the house and footpaths to enjoy a nice walk. And yet, it is only a short (5-10 min) walk from the train station. A direct train to London Waterloo takes only 35 minutes. The house is 10-15 minutes drive from the large towns of Woking and Guildford, with plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment. There are a few traditional English pubs just round the corner and some local grocery shops within a few minutes drive. Many tourist attractions such as Stonehenge, Windsor Castle or Legoland are within 30 to 60 minutes drive away.
All in all, a great family home from where you can rest, enjoy nature and have a great time with family and friends after a busy day out!
