About our home

Newly constructed 4 bedroom home on 3 acres of heavily wooded land. One acre is fenced in with post and rail with mesh wire to acoomodate our four legged friends. The house is not in a development, but a custom built freestanding home on a country back-lane. Our house has all the amenities including a gourmet tile and granite kitchen with restaurant grade stainless steel appliances and custom cherry cabinets. The master bedroom suite is equipped with two walk-in closets, 50" LCD TV and attached private bath with Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Central Air conditioning and heat, Wireless internet access, Laundry room with washer/dryer, cathedral ceiling family room with wood burning fireplace and 50" plasma TV (Premium cable TV and Wii gaming system) with associated home stereo and a private deck looking into wooded backyard.

While our house is situated in the Amish countryside, it is very close to many attractions. 25 miles from the heart of Lancaster County and equidistant to the second largest shopping mall in the country. An hour’s drive into Philadelphia (or a 10 minute drive to public transportation into the city). 2 hours from Washington, DC and New York City.

The house is located on a country road, surrounded by Amish farms. While we are in the county, the house is only 1 mile from an expressway that will lead you into Philadelphia (60 miles away). Our surrounding neighbors are very nice, and you will see the occasional Amish buggy going down the road.

My husband and I are both professionals in our mid thirties who work in pharmaceuticals. It is just the two of us, our 2 Siberian huskies, and 1 cat. We do not have children. We love to travel, and try to get over to Europe once a year, and Boston every St. Patrick’s day.
