About our home

We have a wonderful waterfront home on a quiet creek which is part of the Chesapeake Bay - comfortable and sunny. Two of the 3 bedrooms have lovely views over the water and to undeveloped land across the water. The living room, dining room, and kitchen also have great water views. There is a large shady deck overlooking the water, a private pier with bench at end of pier. Great bird life. Peaceful, forested neighborhood with friendly and helpful neighbors. We have a dinghy with 5hp motor which would be available for use on the creek..

The main bedroom is on the upper level with a king size bed and en suite bathroom. There is a second bedroom on the upper level with a king bed that can be divided into 2 twin beds if necessary.
The main level has a guest room with a king bed that can also be divided into two singles, with a separate bathroom.

Our home has all the usual appliances. - washer, dryer, gas range, electric oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher. We have wireless Internet.

We have 2 grandchildren that visit us, so we can make the home kid-friendly with a crib and toys, if you need that.

Historic Downtown Annapolis is a 13 minute drive away and we have parking available in Annapolis for our guests. Annapolis is the State Capital of Maryland, yet has a quaint small-town atmosphere. It is a very desirable tourist destination. Located on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay, it is within easy reach of Washington DC (1 hour), Baltimore (45 mins), and Philadelphia (2 hours). Our home is in a park-like forested area near the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, a stunning 4 mile bridge across the Bay to all the delights and restaurants of the Maryland Eastern Shore.

We are empty nesters, are very grateful for our lovely home, and will respect and care for our exchange homes as much as we do ours.
