About our home

This is a newly renovated 1891 Schoolhouse . 5,000 sq ft . 2.5 acre parcel in the country but only 8 minutes to the coast . It is a Victorian . Fuji apple orchard , fruit trees , raised vegetable beds. Pool , jaquzzi . Huge grassy yards . English gardens . Secluded on a quiet country road . Surrounded by horses, roosters and chickens in the neighborhood. A very tranquil and peaceful vacation spot . Near wonderful surf, hiking, and wine tasting.
There are two guest houses on the property, and on occasion you will be sharing the pool/jaquzzi/yard area with other renters... On occasion , we stay on sight as well, so we may be sharing space in the yard with you. We have a golden doodle and he is very friendly, he loves to play and is a gentle kind pup.
The renters while there, are usually to themselves and they have a separate driveway and entrance.
When we are staying there, we are happy to give you as much privacy or attention that you need.

Where is it?

Our neighborhood is quiet and rural. We live on a dirt road, there are chickens, roosters, and horses who live on our block. We are on a 2 acre parcel. Around the corner are llamas, horses, goats, sheep. The freeway is a short mile away. The trip tp town is a short 5,6 minute drive. The immediate neighborhood is a farm area. There are fields and farmland all around. The close by homes are mostly older, and belong to the farm workers or gardeners .There are plush gardens and all sorts of birds on the property and the neighborhood. There are owls and beautiful hawks all around the neighborhood as well. There is a little market just down the road from our house. It has simple convenient items. You can walk, or bike to it easily.
