About our home

This spectacular home which sits in formal gardens on 2 private, walled acres, has just been completely renovated. Furnished with elegant antiques throughout it features 5 bedrooms, 4+ living areas, 3 dining areas, 2 offices, a billiard room, bar and a wine cellar. The large, bright kitchen with butler’s pantry is ideal for the most particular of chef’s. There are 5 plasma TV’s, all with Cable TV and DVD players and a 70" Sony with cinema sound for movie nights in . There are 4 full baths and 2 powder rooms. One bath boasts a spa bath for 2 and another has a sauna; the prefect end to a day exploring Asheville.

The home is located in Asheville's prestigious neighborhood of Biltmore Forest which is adjacent to the Biltmore Estate, America's largest home, built by George Vanderbilt. Asheville has been voted as “Best Small Town” in America and is filled with a unique, eclectic and extensive collection of excellent restaurants and shops. Asheville has been named as one of the "Top 10" restaurant destinations in the USA so dining experiences are memorable as is the nightlife.

Asheville also proclaims itself "The Beer City" with dozens of breweries providing every imaginable type of beer for tasting. Nearly all sporting activities are in the area including skiing, hiking, biking and camping. The Smoky Mountains with its legendary Appalachian Trail is a short drive away. Water sports such as kayaking, whitewater rafting, swimming and fishing are all close by. The Blue Ridge Parkway, an incredibly beautiful drive is less than a mile from the house.

  1. We are a couple who have traveled extensively and lived overseas for many years.

  2. We both speak a bit of French and one holds dual US - Australian citizenship.

  3. The children are grown and our business interests allow us to travel freely and our schedule is very flexible.
