About our home

We completely renovated our house in 2005 and updated everything including a gorgeous new kitchen. Decorated with lovely carved antique furniture, the house seems even more elaborate inside than out. Ashland's famous Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Lithia Park a very short walk away as are the quaint, touristy shops of downtown Ashland itself. The best reason for wanting to stay in our home seems that we have consciously made it the most magical, life enhancing place possible.

As we travel a lot of weekends for our work, we will often have 4 day long breaks available over weekends (Thursday-Monday).

We will consider a swap which allows a single non-shedding small dog (Maltese, Shih Tzu, etc, with references) as we have a Shih Tzu ourselves although most often he stays on the island of Roatan where we are also building a Balinese Beachfront home at the current time.

All of downtown Ashland is in walking distance - try Martino's for Italian opening onto the Shakespeare Festival's courtyard, Sesame's Asian Fusion with a great view of Lithia Park or any of another 3 dozen choices in walking distance
Cozy cafés
Ruby's Cafe with great summer outdoor seating is just across the street
Bit of culture
Shakespeare Festival is located two blocks away on the same street
Walks in the park
Lithia Park entry is just 3 blocks away
Day tripping
If you are in Ashland, why would you go anywhere else - but if you want to it is 90 minutes to either Mount Shasta or Crater Lake, 30 minutes to the Old Western Town of Jacksonville and 5 minutes out to the local hotsprings (Jackson's Wellsprings)
