About our home

Our house is a 2800 sq ft townhouse located in an historic area of Baltimore. Baltimore is situated perfectly for vationers to the east coast of the United States. Washington DC and Philadelphia are 1 hr by train, New York is 2.5 hrs. We are 5 blocks from Johns Hopkins Hospital, 5 minutes to the waterfront. We are minutes from the nightlfe of Fells Point and 10 minutes to Baltimore's famous Inner Harbor and Little Italy. You can enjoy Baltimore's famous crabs on the waterfront and walk home.

The house a 4 level circa 1910 home completely rennovated with all the modern conveinances. The bottom floor is a gameroom with a pooltable and seperate kitchen. The house has 3 fireplaces and a loft style den. The roof top deck w/wet bar provides views of the harbor, city lights, Patterson Park and Johns Hopkins Hospital.

There are three bedrooms, the master suite has a queen size bed and the others have double beds. The gameroon room also has a futon that converts to a double bed.

It is city living at it finest. The is very busy but kids would enjoy the local park, garden and rooftop deck.

Our neighborhood has restaurants a large city park and waterfront nighlife within a couple of minutes walk. Also if you are to sailing, kayaking or boating the Chesapeake Bay is a 5 minute walk.

There are may ethnic neighborhoods like Greektown and Little Italy just a short taxi ride away. Also the National Aquarium at the Inner Harbor in Downtown Baltimore is a short ride or walk from the house. There are 2 bus routes just one block in either direction. We are a 10 minute taxi ride to Penn Station (Amtrak) and also 20 minutes from BWI airport.

My wife Kathy and I (Rich) are in the computer software industry. We love to travel and enjoy nature as wells as city life. We have one timid cat and no children. We enjoy hiking, beaches, historic cities and the arts.

I speak English, Spanish and some Italian. Kathy speaks English, Afrikaans and some Spanish.
