About our home

Welcome to our cozy retreat in the majestic redwoods! Ben Lomond is a picturesque town 12 mi. north of Santa Cruz. Our comfortable house has French windows all around, decorated with nature art, esp. Asian. Including an adjacent guest quarters, the house has in total 3 bedrooms (which comfortably sleeps 8), 2 full bathrooms, a main deck overlooking the redwoods, two smaller decks onto the yard. We have raised beds for vegetable gardening; and an orchard of fruit trees in the upper field. Beautiful wooded trails and meadow right outside the house. Our house is next to three retreats a short walk away, attesting to the incredible beauty of these surroundings:

(A well kept secret—shhhh!), Santa Cruz County is a gem of gems, offering the best of all worlds—beach, forest, urban attractions, diverse cuisine, temperate climate (average highs 60-75F/16-24C all year around). Santa Cruz is known as a socially progressive artist/biker/surfer community and the hub of organic food and farming movement.
