About our home

Our home was built by an architect for himself in 1968 and was on the cover of Sunset Magazine. It's set on a large lot with beautiful garden (no work) and 3 laying chickens (light daily duties) overlooking Tilden Park in the North Berkeley Hills. Ten minutes to downtown Berkeley and BART service to San Francisco, 5 minutes to Berkeley's famous "Gourmet Ghetto."

More about us

  1. We're a couple traveling to Brooklyn Sept. 2-8 for a family gathering.

  2. David is a professor of history, Rachel is a social worker and writer

  3. We love the openness and ample light of our house and living surrounded by nature, yet only 5 minutes' drive to town.
