About our home

This cozy log cabin has multiple places to admire the incredible mountain views. Whether enjoying morning coffee, savoring a beautiful sunset from one of the three decks, or cuddling in front of the fire on a winter's eve, you are encouraged to catch your breath and relax in a tranquil, natural setting in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. There are 3 queen sized bedrooms (2 en suites), and a full sized futon, making this an ideal retreat for families. The downstairs den has an flat screen TV, air hockey table, and bumper pool/card table for indoor entertainment. Wireless internet allow you to plan your day's activities. This is a vacation home.

  1. We are a married couple without children, in our foties. Scott is a computer programmer and Diana is an optometrist. We enjoy travelling to different countries, learning about different cultures, and eating different foods. We love hiking, scuba diving, sailing and craft breweries.

This quiet vacation retreat is nestled in the woods but conveniently located, only 5 minutes to downtown Black Mountain and 20 minutes to downtown Asheville. Shopping enthusiasts like to peruse the local art and crafts stores or quaint antique shops. For the outdoor lovers, there is hiking, mountain biking, golf, and rafting nearby. Bicyclist and motorcyclists can enjoy cruising along the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. The summer months are often alive with music and street festivals in the downtown areas.
