Hello there
I am Carol an artist/designer, I own a handmade clothing boutique…check out the vintage sewing machine base in our bathroom …Mike is a world squash referee .We are avid DIY ers always doing some project or other, so things are always changing ,right now it’s a shabby chic boho look .....we love a relaxed lived in and loved feel ... We are originally from Ireland and England.....Our home is in a beachy quiet residential neighbourhood . We have 4 grownup children (I say that loosely) 3 live here in USA , one in Geneva , .with 10 grandkids ... We are mostly relaxed about our home... its vintage styled and is clean & comfortable, ITS CLEAN NOT PRISTINE .. ...not to much is precious. We would like you to feel completely at home here during your stay .Our only gripe would be someone smoking in our home. We live in the next town and would be happy to answer any questions you might have .. We had a brilliant swap with a couple in Brittany and a couple in Cognac ... also a castle in Ireland ...swapping really is a great way to see new places...

We charge a Cleaning fee of $100 .
Please leave the house as you found it ….The cleaning fee is for the laundering of the linens and floor cleaning after you leave

large eat in kitchen . . 4 double bedrooms 1 with a shower room …2 up stairs bedrooms share a very small shower room (tiny but functional) there is a main bathroom on the ground floor ..There is also a tiny one room cottage that sleeps 2 situated in the back garden with its own little deck .
The backyard is great for drinks in the evening ,and there is plenty of garden furniture great to spend a quiet and relaxing afternoon .Wonderful neighbours and a very safe and quiet neighbourhood .
Our house is very close to the beach.

This is a very lovely area, and was voted one of best place's to raise kids
Bristol is a small seaside town within easy reach of providence Boston and New york either by public transport or by car, Cape Cod ,Martha's vineyard and Nantucket are all day trips .Our house is a great base for all these cities. Newport with its world famous mansions is 20 minutes driving distance and has hundreds of small shops and resturants .Bristol also has great restaurants many of them right on the water .Providence has waterfire and that is a must see. we are also in a great spot for the Newport Jazz and folk festivals
