“Me and my family, husband and five children, had the pleasure of staying in Gosia's and Jan´s wonderful home in Brooklyn. The house is a beautiful, very nicely restored, "brown stone" house from I guess, early last century. Lots of space for our whole family and even a small garden on the backside of the house. We easily took the subway to Manhattan in 15-20 minutes. Looking back we are really glad we stayed in Brooklyn and not Manhattan, so that we got a chance to learn to know also this part of New York. Gosia and her family where most helpful and made sure we got good information and also prepared our stay very well so that we could have a really nice time in the "Big Apple".”

About our home
Located on a quiet tree-lined street in the heart of the landmarked part of Park Slope, our house is just steps from Prospect Park and 5th & 7th Avenues with their boutiques, restaurants and cafes. Explore one of Brooklyn’s most vibrant neighborhoods and if you want to go to Manhattan, hop on the subway and be there in 15 min. Enjoy grilling in the lush garden designed by a landscape architect or dine out on 5 & 7th Avenues restaurant rows.
On the parlor floor we have large living/entertaining area, a dining room and a windowed kitchen overlooking the backyard.
On the second floor there is a TV room with a large sofa and a giant master bedroom, both with cable TV and flat TV’s and WiiU for kids. There is also a master bathroom.
On the third floor, there are 3 bedrooms, an office and a bathroom.
The laundry room with washer and dryer is in the basement.
Park Slope was called one of New York City's most desirable neighborhoods. In 2010, it was ranked number 1 in New York by New York Magazine, citing its quality public schools, dining, nightlife, shopping, access to public transit, green space, safety, and creative capital, among other aspects. It was named one of the "Greatest Neighborhoods in America" by the American Planning Association in 2007, "for its architectural and historical features and its diverse mix of residents and businesses, all of which are supported and preserved by its active and involved citizenry. In December 2006, Natural Home magazine named Park Slope one of America's ten best neighborhoods based on criteria including parks, green spaces and neighborhood gathering spaces; farmers' markets and community gardens; public transportation and locally owned businesses; and environmental and social policy.
