About our home

Our lovley apartment is in an old amazing mansion recently renovated with wooden floors and high ceillings,it's fully furnished with Queens size bed and a futton bed ,there is TV and cable ,Wi Fi and aircon as well.
It's a one bedroom kept clean, basic and warm atmosphere.
There are 2 huge windows that bring in a lot of light to the living space and a great view of the area.
it's a 1 min walk to the stunning view of the promenade.
Between 2 of the most amazing and quiet streets in the Heights and 5 minutes walk to 4 different subway (one stop from Wall Street) lines and a quick walk to the Brooklyn Bridge and Dumbo area.
It's a perfect combination of quiet village but 5 min from everything in the city.
We so love it here and would be happy to share it with you.
Brooklyn Heights stretches from Old Fulton Street near the Brooklyn Bridge south to Atlantic Avenue and from the East River east to Court Street andCadman Plaza. Adjacent neighborhoods are: DUMBO, Downtown Brooklyn, Cobble Hill and Boerum Hill. It is directly across the East River from Manhattan, and easily accessible to Downtown and multiple subway lines.
The neighborhood is largely composed of block after block of picturesque rowhouses and a few mansions. A great range of architectural styles are represented, including a few Federal-style houses from the early 19th century in the northern part of the neighborhood, brick Greek Revival and Gothic Revival houses, and Italianate brownstones. A number of houses, particularly along Pierrepont Street and Pierrepont Place are authentic mansions. Brooklyn Heights was the first neighborhood protected by the 1965 Landmarks Preservation Law of New York City. Plymouth Church of the Pilgrims is in Brooklyn Heights.
At 1,826 feet, the Brooklyn Heights promenade stretches along the East River waterfront and is the main attraction in the area. Stroll down the walkway for breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge.

We are a couple in our early 30's,recently married.
I am a Birth Doula (Birth Coach) working in the NYC area helping moms and families give birth at the location of their choice and my husband is a classical composer and educator.
We've been in NY for the past two ears and love it so but would love some time out and change of scenery.
We love big cities but would prefer being close to nature and even more close to water where we can swim and take it easy.
