About our home

This is a dramatic, modern house, steps from the ocean. Video of interior at: https://vimeo.com/564830296/7508ec2d11 Cambria is a quaint beach town with great restaurants, shops and beautiful beaches. Visit Hearst Castle, former estate of William Randolph Hearst, which is nearby. Or take a drive along the ocean, up Hiway 1 to Big Sur and Carmel. Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The home sits between the ocean and a large public ranch. It is one mile (1,6km) to town and shopping. A park and public beach are closer. The park has a swimming pool for children. The public ranch has many hiking and biking trails. You can often see deer, birds and other wildlife from our kitchen window.

Bit of culture
Famous "Hearst Castle" is minutes away, in San Simeon.
Walks in the park
A 400 acres reserve is my back yard. Out the back door and onto lovely hiking trails. One trail runs along the Pacific Ocean shore.
Day tripping
Cambria is close to a superb wine-growing region (Central Coast). Lots of wineries to visit and taste.
