About our home

Our 2 bedroom, 3 bath home is totally renovated. The main floor has a four year old chef's kitchen, dining room, living room with fireplace, sun room, office, and small bathroom. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a gorgeous bathroom. There is a finished basement which includes a family room with large tv, 2 inflatable mattresses and a sofa to sleep on, a laundry area, and bathroom w/shower. The private garden has a beautiful blue stone patio with a gas grill, small fish pond, and lush plantings. Ideal Cambridge location also close to Boston.

More about us

  1. We're a mature couple with grown children and grandchildren in Los Angeles, CA, Toulouse, France, and London, UK. We love exploring France and Italy, as well as the western US. We're open to many other parts of the world as well. During the pandemic, we are exchanging homes in the New England area. We're proud of our clean, beautifully maintained home and would like to exchange with people from similar homes or condos. We will thoroughly clean our home before an exchange and will arrange to have it cleaned immediately after you leave at your expense.

  2. Paul is a retired British architect and Mary is a classical musician and real estate agent.

  3. We love arts and culture and exploring small villages as well as interesting neighborhoods in large cities. Mary loves to practice her french while trying out local foods and learning more about people and how they live. A non-reciprocal exchange is possible.

Where is it?

Close to many amenities in the heart of Cambridge. About a 20 minute walk to Harvard Square or there's a bus at the end of the street. Fresh Pond and Danehy Park are nearby with walking and biking paths. There are several neighborhood restaurants in addition to popular hot spots all over Cambridge. The Charles River and Fresh Pond Mall are also very close by. The neighbors are very friendly. This really feels like a family community. The closest "T" (subway) stops are at Alewife or in Porter and Harvard Squares.
