About our home

We are open to non-simultaneous exchanges with your vacation home.

Our holiday home "Sandyland Beach Retreat" is a 2 bedroom 2 bath (sleeps 6) condo across the street from a wonderful swimming beach. It is located in the charming beach town of Carpinteria, a few minutes drive south of Santa Barbara. It is a second floor condo that faces the beach from the living room (partial ocean views) and has mountain views from the kitchen. It has 2 pools (one is shallow for kids) and a jacuzzi.

Our beach is renowned for being the "The Worlds Safest Beach." It is protected by the Channel Islands and is known for its calm waves and little or no rip tides or undertows. Great place to surf, boogie board, paddle board and kayak. During the summer and holidays, lifeguards and beach equipment rentals are right on the beach.

We have beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and boogie boards for your use.

Walk a few short blocks and you will discover Carpinteria's surf shops, restaurants and a local brewery. It is a casual, laid back beach town, and only 10 minutes to Santa Barbara for upscale shopping, restaurants and night life.

Santa Barbara is called the "American Riviera" for its resort atmosphere, natural beauty, mountains, upscale shopping & restaurants, safe swimming beaches and homes of the rich and famous.
