About our home

Our home is big enough for large groups but very cozy and inviting. We have a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, basement theater room and lots of living spaces, two fireplaces, as well as a relaxing backyard with hot tub, fire pit, and hammocks for the summer months..

We have Big Screen smart tv in basement with DVDs and smart tv in family room.

Bedrooms:
Master suite with King bed, private bathroom and garden tub
Guest suite with Queen bed, private bathroom, connected to theater room.
Three comfortable guest rooms upstairs with shared bathroom. (Bed 1: Twin, Bed 2: Twin, Bed 3: Queen) + 1 rollaway twin

We live in the resort town of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. We are on walking and bike trails, approximately 5 minutes from the buzz of downtown and the Coeur d'Alene resort, lake, and famous floating green golf course. In the months of July and August there are activities going on all of the time. Farmers markets, boat shows, Art walks, boat cruises, small theme park/water park (Silverwood), which is so great for kids, etc. Year round there are many recreational activities available and usually lots of snow in the winter.

There is much swimming, kayaking, hiking, bicycling, and so many more outdoor activities to participate in. The Coeur d'Alene trail (72 miles long) and Centennial trail are good for bicycling long distances, or parking at a trailhead and taking a shorter scenic bike ride.

We are driving distance from Seattle, Washington, from Glacier National Park, and from the Canadian border. The beautiful Banff and breathtaking Lake Louise are a day's drive and are worth seeing.

FYI. We rent our house out on airbnb and vrbo and have reviews on those sites.

*Points swaps are lower in shoulder seasons (Oct/Nov and Jan-April.)
**We charge a $200 cleaning fee for points swaps. Cleaning fee waived for classic swap, if other home does not require it.
***No smoking or pets. No large group parties.

We look forward to making your stay very comfortable and enjoyable!

More about us

  1. We are a couple with grown children. We work primarily remotely so are open for longer swaps in December/January or February-May, as well as anywhere tropical, European, or a new adventurous place to visit. We also love to travel with or meet our adult kids somewhere adventurous.

  2. We work and travel for a nonprofit. We speak and train parents to teach their kids about healthy sexuality.

  3. We enjoy our home, people, and exploring new places.
