About our home

Our apartment overlooks the Statue of Liberty and is ten minutes, one stop, from downtown Manhattan by either subway (PATH) or a wonderful ferry ride. It is not a rental property but is our home, filled with art and personal objects. But it is also designed and furnished to be used and enjoyed. It is approximately 1100 square feet, has two full bathrooms, two bedrooms, washer/dryer, and all modern conveniences. It is a very quiet apartment, you will sleep soundly. The building opened in 2008 and has all kinds of amenities including an excellent 24 hr gym, sauna, summer outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, children playroom, 24 hour doormen and the ground floor has the area’s best food store with coffee and pizza bar. The building is filled with a diverse set of residents both in terms of country of origin, family size, and age. The neighborhood is one block from the water and has a lovely pedestrian boardwalk that goes for miles. We are one block from one of the city’s historic neighborhoods with restaurants and stores.. Please check out the building webpage and the photos under building photos...

Where is it?

Jersey City is directly across the Hudson from lower Manhattan and one stop away by subway (PATH) or ferry. The whole waterfront area has been developed over the last thirty years. The older part of the city, downtown, is about a 15 minute walk. Both areas are filled with restaurants, stores, singles and families. It is wonderfully safe and pretty. Jersey City, last year, was acknowledged as the most diverse city in the United States, with a population that is 25% Hispanic, Black, Asian and white.
