About our home

We live in a charming 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage (about 68 sqm or 729 sqft) surrounded by good sized front, side and back yards (gardens). The kitchen is bright and feels open and inviting. We do a lot of cooking at home so we have everything one will need to create great meals.

We enjoy our outdoor spaces and have a large dining table outside to accommodate family and friends. We often work from home so we have fast WiFi and a good scanner/printer/copier which you are welcome to use.

The master bedroom has a wonderful king size "Sleep Number" brand bed. Each side is independently adjustable and will make you sleep like a champ.

Our children's room is currently set up for toddlers. However, if your party has larger children or adults we can easily swap out the kids beds for other types (e.g. 1 or 2 twins, 1 full or 1 queen) to fit your needs.

Our living room sofa is also a queen size hide-a-bed.

Our home is located in a desirable area of Orange County, California. It is an easy walk or a quick bike-ride to the beach. We take daily walks to the market to buy food. A very short walk from our front door will take you to two, large markets - one is more commercial (Vons.com) and the other is more wholesome, organic, and natural (Sprouts.com).

We are one street in from our local downtown area which puts us within walking distance of shops, good restaurants and coffee.

We are a 20 minute walk to waterfront restaurants along Pacific Coast Highway (which is how my husband and I spent our anniversary a couple of months ago).

We have nice neighborhood parks but our property is like a park playground so we mostly take advantage of playing at home. We have a "jungle gym" in our back yard (garden) and a large patch of grass and good sized driveway for riding bikes and playing games (obviously we have small children - so our days are filled with these kinds of amusements).

Other Information
We plug our TV into our computer using an HDMI cable and watch television/movies via the internet. We will be traveling with our computer. It is our suggestion that you bring a laptop with you that can plug into our TV if watching television is important to you. We can help you figure out what you'll need.

If you have small children we have some baby items such as a highchair, pack-n-play (travel cot), and potty seat.
