About our home

Our home is of a contemporary western design. Two levels: Upper level-living room, dining room (opens on to a small deck with a beautiful view of the moutains), kitchen, master bedroom, office and bath. Lower level-recreation room (pool table, TV, sofa bed), bedroom, laundry room, exercise/computer room and bath. An indoor 'hot tub' room is located off of the exercise room. This room opens on to the patio/garden area. The garden/patio area has a privacy fence and a view of the mountains. We have 2 charming well-behaved cats, Panther and Tiger. Our neighbors will care for them if you go to visit any of our National Parks.

More about us

  1. We are a retired couple (business man and teacher). After our retirement, we served 2 years as volunteers in the Peace Corps. We still keep busy with many volunteer activities. Rollie is a docent at Utah's Hogle Zoo. (He takes animals out to the schools.) Betty is a docent at the Utah Museum of Natural History. (She helps with re-housing artifacts of the Anasazi and Fremont Indian cultures.) We also take exhibits from the museum to the small towns in Utah and host family events. We have so enjoyed and learned so much through our home exchanges...France, Germany, Scotland, the Netherlands, Spain, Canada and the U.S. We treasure the friendships we have made through these exchanges. Our son and his family live in the city and enjoy being of any assistance. He is a professor at Westminster College and his wife is a nurse.
