About our home

This is an absolutely immaculate, 5,000 sq. ft., three-story home. Boasting 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and 3 half baths. The main floor encompasses the living, dining, kitchen, entry, master suite, one guest room, and full bath. In the master suite, you will find genuine log furniture with a king size bed, fireplace, flat screen TV, glass enclosed steam shower, two private toilet closets, dual sinks and mirrors, and two walk in closets. From the master suite, you are only steps to your own private hot tub, and wrap-around deck, overlooking the peaceful serenity of Tin Cup Creek. The living room, kitchen, and dining area are designed for social entertainment with an open floor concept, embellished with huge windows framing the rooms to provide a peaceful view of the creek and mountain outside. This main floor also boasts a fireplace, hardwood flooring, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, dining table with seats for 8, and access to the wrap around deck. The guest room on the main floor has a full size bed and closet, with the full guest bath being only steps from the guest room. The bath has a toilet, vanity, and stand up shower. On the third floor you will find 2 bedrooms, the Cowboy room and the Indian room, each with their own private balcony. Both upstairs rooms have their own private bathroom, with a shared tub behind pocket doors. The cowboy inspired room has been decorated in ode to the pioneers who settled this area in the late 1800's and has been adorned with an array of authentic cowboy decor, including saddles and a buffalo hide rug. The Cowboy room has two closets, private balcony, queen size bed and small television. The Indian room has been decorated with special attention to the Nez Perce Indian tribe, harboring an array of genuine Indian artifacts, tools, arrowheads, and furs. The Indian room has one closet, queen size bed, and private balcony. The basement is a social favorite, as you will find the bar; with refrigerator, ice maker, card table, dart board, pool table, wood stove and big screen TV. The basement also has a half bath with a toilet and vanity, laundry room, and private office filled with windows overlooking the creek and wilderness outside. The basement doors open to the creek with old log seating and a camp fire ring along the river bank. You will find two garages, one on the main floor for parking your vehicle (we are also open to vehicle exchange) and one off the basement with two four wheelers. The house sits on 13 acres, which includes entry to the property, a corral, and a shed. This is a gated area with security code enforced gate. We feel confident that 8 people (as in four couples) could sleep very comfortably in the house. If you seek to accommodate more guests, please contact us with questions. We do not allow pets, as there are many irreplaceable aspects of this home. While we do not provide a land line telephone, we do offer Dish Network and WiFi Internet access. This home is located 6 minutes from the historic town of Darby, where you will find amazing antique shops, a custom hat maker, mercantile shop, grocery store, saloon, convenience store, and an array of cafes. And don't forget to stop by our Library Bookstore while you are here. This home is located 40 minutes from the Lost Trail Powder Mountain Ski Area, 15 minutes from guided horseback riding/ camping, 45 minutes from Skalkaho Falls, and a little over an hour to Gem Mountain, where you and your family can mine your own sapphires. There is so much to do in this area, for any season in the year. We invite you to come and stay at our gem on Moose Meadow. Thanks so much!
