We are just 15 minutes to the New York State Capitol in Albany. Other nearby cities include: Saratoga Springs (40 miles); New York City (150 miles); Boston; (150 miles); and Montreal (165 miles). With the use of our car you can also visit the Adirondack Mountains or the Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts.
If you want to bring a dog, it will have to get along with our cats, and you will have to clean up after him.

We live in the small, upscale town of Delmar, in a quiet and very safe neighborhood of doctors, lawyers, and other professional people. Walk to shopping a few blocks away. The golf course welcomes you to walk around in the evening, but only after play has stopped.

We are retired and want to travel more. I was in government affairs and my wife was a librarian. We have a dog and two cats. The dog will be boarded, but the cats must be fed and watered while you are staying in the house. Other arrangements can be made if you plan to leave the house for a few days of local travel. One cat goes outdoors and one does not.
