IN GENERAL. Cape Cod-style home, approx. 3,000 s.f. Built in 1949. New hardwood floors. Currently sparsely furnished. Attached garage.

LOCATION. Brick wall separates large grassy backyard from cemetery. Approx. one-half mile south of northern border of Detroit, in Sherwood Forest. A few minutes from Royal Oak in one direction, and approx. 15 minutes from downtown and Ford Field in other direction. Within 7 minutes of I-75 (Chrysler Freeway) and of US-10 (John Lodge Freeway). Approx. one-half mile west of Woodward Ave.

BEDROOMS, BATHS. Four bedrooms (two on 1st floor, two on 2nd), each with queen-sized beds. Small closets. Two full baths, two half baths. 50-gal water heater, so may want to coord. baths.

OTHER ROOMS. Living and dining rooms unfurnished. Currently a picnic table in dining room. Small library. Largish kitchen. Non-heated Florida room connects garage to rest of home (through dining room).

ENTERTAINMENT. Computer, available for Internet usage only, in basement. Also, wireless network available for equipped laptops. 26" TV in basement. Also TVs in some other rooms. Two under-4 y.o. nephews spend time in home, so there are a couple of children's tables and several chairs. Also crayons and markers, which must remain in basement. German-language TV via satellite.

No car avail.

Home is smallest on its block in an established, well-to-do neighborhood. Brick wall separates large grassy backyard from cemetery.

Most residents are middle- and upper-aged. Quiet.

Entrepreneur and community volunteer. Previously a commercial-law attorney. Currently informally learning German.
