About our home

What I'm looking for:

My ideal - I would love to live and work in NYC/Manhattan January 2021-June 2021 and am looking to do a home exchange with someone who has a 2+ bedroom apartment/home in good location close to commuter or walking to all. My home is perfect for the professor-type looking to do a sabbatical in a quaint New England town walking distance to a major University for research, etc. or a couple/small family looking to experience life away from the city. Possible car available.

Other possible exchanges would be fall 2020 for a few months in Amalfi Coast. Shorter weeks also in summer of 2020 and then beyond June 2021. I have a second home in Sarasota, FL that could also be available for an exchange - it's a totally renovated Bungalow with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath in a neighborhood developed in the 1920s - Gillespie Park - walking distance to downtown Sarasota and quick bike ride to the beaches.

About my house in Durham: Three bedroom, 2 bath home completely renovated with modern amenities walking distance to University of New Hampshire, downtown Durham and numerous parks and trails. We are only 1 hour to Boston, Portland, Lakes and Mountain regions and 20 minutes to Portsmouth, NH and beaches. The home has a open feel with large picture windows to let in lots of light. The front of the house is south facing with open kitchen dining area and family room. There are three bedrooms each with queen beds down the hall and the master has it's own en-suite with tiled shower and washer/dryer in the bathroom. There is a one car garage with plenty of parking in the driveway. Durham is a university town with a nice assortment of restaurants, coffee shops and grocery shopping 5 minute walk from the house. There are many several small towns like Exeter, Dover, and Newmarket just minutes away that each offer a unique feel, restaurants and shops.
