Our Encinitas home in central to all San Diego sites: beaches, mountains, desert, Legoland, zoo,etc

Stay in our family-friendly, 3 bedroom 2 bath home on a corner lot in the great family neighborhood of Village Park. Use our community pool, tennis court, and enclosed playground just a quick 5 minute walk or bike-ride away. The large picket-fence enclosed open front yard offers space to soak in the sun in the summer and the private back yard with gas grill allows for quiet star-gazing on clear nights. Our simple, tropical-feel of a home has a large country kitchen to enjoy/entertain. Cable and internet access are available for your stay as well. All appliances are 1-3 years new, including microwave, dishwasher, oven/stove, and large-capacity washer and dryer. We have an attached garage to allow for simple storage and ease of coming and going. Beach towels, sand toys, long board surfboard, body boards, bikes, and miscellaneous sports equipment are available for your family's use and enjoyment as well.

The house sits just 3 1/2 miles east from famous surf spots and beautiful North County coastline-our warmest waters are offered this time of year! You will be 30 minutes from downtown San Diego with the World Famous San Diego Zoo, Sea World and city-life at your disposal. You will be 45 minutes from the local mountains of the Cuyamacas and sixty minutes from The Anza Borrego Desert. Just 30 minutes east lies the World Famous Wild Animal Park. Daytrips to Mexico and/or Los Angeles make for fun excursions; Disneyland can be a traffic-free 75 minutes away. The neighborhood is wonderful for young families or retirees alike - it is a nice mix of both here.

My husband and I are both credentailed California school teachers. His area is Biology and mine, English/Spanish. I currently run a polynesian dance school/halau while caring for our four children - aged 4-10. My husband works as a Biology teacher at Fallbrook High School and has for 18 years. I taught and counseled high school and junior high school students for ten years and took time away from that over the past 3 years to run the halau and raise the kids. I speak Spanish fluently. We are both native to California and I have lived in my home-town of Encinitas all my life. It's a wonderful place to live and visit!
