One of our greatest daily pleasures is dining on the deck, enjoying the views with outdoor speakers setting the mood, and 2 outdoor waterfalls flowing.

Southern California only has two seasons . . . Summer and Kind of Summer! Our home in Encinitas, California, still has a village feel, but is close to major attractions such as the Gas Lamp District in downtown San Diego, the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park and the Cabrillo monument as well as dozens of hiking trails. A historic train station is located in the Carlsbad town center with easy access to world famous attractions such as Del Mar and La Jolla, Laguna Beach, Coronado beach and hotel, Old Town and downtown San Diego. We are nestled on a bluff over looking the ocean where the ocean breeze keeps the temperature in the 70 degree range much of the year. Both spring and fall offer ideal travel opportunities. A beach picnic "kit" of chairs, umbrella and table await your use. Lovely Carlsbad beach is less than 1 mile.

We have beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie board for your use at the beach. The tennis court is nearby, and we have tennis rackets and pickle ball equipment for your use.
