About our home

Our home is just 7 years old with a natural wood exterior. We have 16 pine trees on the property with bird feeders in the backyard. The front yard has a new flagstone walk and native plants. We like to sit on the front porch in the evenings enjoying our view of the mountains. This view can also be seen from the living room sofa. The house has an open floor plan with numerous windows on the bottom floor with lots of light coming in. There are 2 bedrooms and a full bath on the upper floor and a master bedroom on the first floor.

More about us

  1. My wife Cheryl and I just recently retired. We moved to Flagstaff 6 years ago. We have three grandchildren. We are interested in exchanging homes with folks in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Israel. We are hoping a house exchange can help us do this and perhaps offer a way for us to travel.

It has a beautiful high country Arboretum. Lowell Observatory where Pluto was discovered is open to the public and is 10 minutes from our house. The Snow Bowl, a major skiing area, is just 8 miles north. The Grand Canyon, Navajo, Apache, Zuni, and Hopi Indian Reservations, Sunset Crater, Wupatki, Walnut Canyon, and Petrified Forest National Parks are all within driving distance. Sedona with its red rocks and numerous hiking trails is 30 minutes south. Phoenix is two hours south.
