About our home

Every our five acre property attracts deer. bobcats and one two occasions bears. We live inside the city limits of Fort Collins CO, but our property is surrounded by other acreages. Less than 1 mile from our home is one of the busiest intersections in Fort Collin, but you would never know when you are sitting on the back patio in complete seclusion with nothing but wildlife and open space. Our home has two bedrooms upstairs and 3 bedrooms downstairs. We have two full bathrooms and one powder room. The remodeled master bathroom has a large soaking tub and a shower as well as his and hers vanities. The powder room is also remodeled. The downstairs full bath has not been remodeled but my kids are in love with the old vine and flower wall paper and it is the perfect place to clean up your kids or dog after a long day of Colorado outdoor fun! The washer and dryer are located in the upstairs mudroom, the perfect place to leave all your summer or winter equipment when you come home. The outdoor patio has a wood burning fire pit that is perfect for s'mores, a propane heater for cool evenings, dining table for 6 and a large set of patio furniture that can be shaded with an over sized umbrella. The main living area has been completely remolded and includes a kitchen with an amazing Viking gas cook top and a great set of double ovens that would make any home chef feel spoiled. We added an over sized island, and took out walls to make, the kitchen living and dining areas open to each other, We did keep an amazing old large wood burning stove that can heat up the living area to a toast temperature in a matter of minutes on the coldest snowy Colorado days, We have space to work out in the downstairs family room including a treadmill strategically placed in front of the flat screen tv. We have Netflix, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime, HBO and live streaming of local tv stations on three tvs in the house (main living, master bedroom, and family rooms) Every other Thursday our lovely cleaning lady Lupe comes in to do a full house cleaning.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Tucked away down a long drive, with lots of mature trees our neighborhood consists of large 5 acre+ lots. We all grow hay and some neighbors have horse, donkeys, and other smaller animals. The neighborhood is quiet and feels remote, however we are only 2 minutes from the nearest grocery store and you can be at more than a dozen restaurants or breweries within a 3 minute drive. There are also bike or walking path that can get to nearly any place you want in the city. You get all the fresh air and relaxation of country living with everything the city has to offer at your fingertips. It is only a 10 minute drive to Horsetooth Reservoir, the mountains and multiple hiking trails. Plan ahead and you can enjoy the famous Tour De Fat. Public transport via the MAX is very close and can be accessed via walking, biking or you can park your car and ride to downtown Fort Collins.
