About our home

Absolutely charming single family house in a quite Washington D.C. Suburb. Right in the middle of everything, Nations Capital, Civil War Sites, Blue Ridge Mountains, Chesapeake Bay. Our house is in a quite neighborhood just 3 minutes from I-95. Perfect for a family with children, our house is child friendly and our backyard overlooks the community park. You will have all the comforts of home, Large Screen High Def TV, High Speed Internet, fully equipped kitchen, more toys that we know what to do with, DVD movies galore. We want to start traveling more and home exchange seems fun. You can use our 2001 Chevy Tahoe as well. We would really like to visit Reykjavik, Iceland between September 2006 and August 2007. Does anyone in Reykjavik want to visit the Washington DC Area?

More about us

  1. We are a young professional family. Jason is a local attorney ( and Tracee is a teacher but now a stay at home mom. Our two children are 4 and 2. We love to travel but like the space of home verse hotel rooms. We realy want to visit Reykjavik, Iceland sometime between September 2006 and August 2007. Please give us a ring. We have two friendly dogs (outside only) but we will kennel them if you are not a dog family.

Where is it?

Enjoy all the sites of Washington DC without living in the city. Just a short train ride (VRE) or drive up I-95 to the city. You will be there in 30-40 minutes. Like Civil War history? Northern Virginia is rich with Civil War battlefields from Fredericksburg to Chancellorsville and General Lee's Home. You can experience the Civil War by walking the battlefields. Also near Paramount’s Kings Dominion, a major theme park known for some of the fastest roller coasters in the State. Want to go the mountains? The Blue Ridge Parkway is about 2 hours west. Enjoys the rich colors of the Blue Ridge in fall or hiking and camping in the spring. Boating and fishing, the Potomac River and the Chesapeake Bay are right here. Military History? Come see the new Marine Corps Museum at Quantico Marine Corps Base opening November 2006 also would work well if a family member was graduating Marine Corp OCS or the FBI/DEA Academy. Traveling to our house is so easy. Ronald Reagan National Airport and Dulles International Airport are about 40 Minutes North and Richmond International Airport is about 50 minutes south. You can also travel into Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) but it is about 2 hours north.
