More about us

  1. My husband Peter and I(Cathy), are in our mid 50's. We are soooo ready to slow down and travel. My parents did home exchanges 20 years ago from their home on this lake. They had wonderful adventures and made lasting friendships. One fellow from Amsterdam ended up buying land and building here.
I am a psychotherapist and my husband is a teacher. Due to his schedule we will travel mostly in the summer though he does have a Dec. Feb. and April break. We plan to spend time in Washington DC first and then most anywhere and everywhere.
We have 2 (Sadie and Sweetpea)adorable dogs who take care of themselves, except for being fed (dry food and water). There are dog doors in the kitchen and "mud room" they go in and out of. They are only allowed in the kitchen and spend most of their time together in the woods.
We cherish our home (sanctuary) and would treat your home as such. We look forward to talking with anyone who is interested.
