About our home

Newly decorated two-story townhome in quiet friendly neighborhood. It has two large bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen-sized bed and a full-sized futon couch for extra sleeping. The other bedroom has two twin-sized beds. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom with tub/shower. The down stairstairs has a large living room/dining room area just off the kitchen which is well stocked for all your cooking needs. There is an enclosed patio for outside grilling and entertaining. Just off the kitchen is a separate laundry room with full sized washer and dryer, a half-bath, and a two car garage. (The downstairs would be handicap accessible, but not the upstairs). We do provide an air mattress for additional sleeping downstairs. Crib is available upon request. There is a TV/DVD player in living room and TV upstairs, WiFi accessibility, local phone. Sparkling community pool and hot tub is available for your enjoyment. We don't advertize pets. We have only allowed one renter to have pets and that was a sight-seeing dog. So we will make exceptions, please do not be afraid to ask. We just cannot have cats, due to so many people being allergies to cats.

You are close to bus line as well as most interstates making travel very easy if you are planning sight-seeing trips to many of the wonderful places surrounding the Glendale/Phoenix area; i.e Grand Canyon, Sedona, Tucson, etc. Phoenix recently added a light rail system, which you can catch not too far away either by car or bus - and then take the light rail into Downtown Phoenix for some of its culture, museums, restaurants and nightlife. Glendale being a suburb of Phoenix is still not small by any means, the population is 226,721. There is plenty of shopping, restaurants, theaters, and sporting events right here in our own back yard. Historic Glendale is full of quaint antique shops and cafes worth strolling through. The Phoenix Zoo and the Botanical Gardens with the views of the Camelback Mountains are also worth the drive. We have such beautiful scenery, spectacular sunsets, and gorgeous weather. Anywhere you go, you will be amazed. If you want a little bit of the old west, I recommend a trip out to the Cave Creek area, or if you are even more adventuresome, take a longer drive to Tucson and then on to Tombstome. You will really see some of the wild, wild, west.

Monika Fischer is the Owner of this property, and others hence (Fischer Arizona Rentals) I have just been lucky enough to be her friend for over 30 years and offered to manage the properties for her since she is out of state in California. She is retiring this year from the health profession and we both thought it would be a great opportunity to offer the townhome as a swap in order to do some travelling. We just returned from a trip from Scotland and both realized we wanted to return again. Thought this might be the easiest way..... lets hope!!
