The home up for exchange has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms; a laundry room with full-size washing machine and dryer; a kitchen containing all essentials; a living room with a gas fireplace, desktop computer with internet, cable television, DVD player, VCR player, and Nintendo Wii and a variety of movies and games. Child's bedroom contains a twin trundle bed that could comfortably sleep at least 2, a large collection of toys, books, games, and movies, as well as cable television, a DVD player, and VCR player. Master bedroom and guest bedroom each have a queen size bed. Master bathroom has a whirlpool tub.
My home is located at the end of the street in a quiet subdivision with mostly young families. It is conveniently located near the interstate and a variety of restaurants and shops. A few minutes from my home is an outlet mall with about 50 stores including Gap, Old Navy, Tommy Hilfiger, Mikasa, Children's Place, and Aeropostale. My home is about a 15 minute drive from Baton Rouge, which is the state capitol, and about a 40 minute drive from New Orleans.
My name is Jennifer, and I am a 29 year old attorney. I am a single mom (divorced) with a 5 year old son. I love to travel and explore new places. Unfortunately hotels and transportation can be very costly so I thought I'd try a home exchange. I have never been out of the United States and am very anxious to go to another country. I am only fluent in English but that would not stop me from going anywhere.
