About our home
You know when you watch a show about New York and you think "there's no way that apartment exists in New York for less than a small fortune"? Stand corrected! Welcome to Joli Rouge, a gorgeous hidden open-space apartment in Brooklyn's hippest neighborhood, Greenpoint.
The primary bedroom has a Queen bed and the loft bedroom is a full mattress. The orange couch is also a twin pullout bed.
If you enjoy cooking, you'll appreciate the Shun knife set, All-Clad and Le Creset pans, and the Chef's kitchen with every culinary tool you could need.
The whole home is smart equipped with Google home and Hue lights for setting the right vibe whether that's working or relaxing.
Working while traveling? The office space has an adjustable standing desk, monitor to plug your laptop into and a giant whiteboard wall for brainstorming. There's a secondary workspace in the bedroom, so two people can easily be on calls at the same time.
If you are a cycler, bring your shoes to use our Peloton. We also have yoga mats and weights.
In the winter the floors are heated and in the summer we have A/C units in the windows.

“I had an amazing stay at Alex and Helen’s apartment! The location was perfect, close to the subway and so many good restaurants and bars. The apartment has everything you could possibly want for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, either for an extended period of time or a short trip. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the gadgets you could ever need. They have a projector with all the subscriptions so nights in are never boring. Plus a Peloton and yoga mats for exercise, a beautiful dining area, cosy bedroom and outside courtyard…truly every home comfort and utility was covered. The neighbourhood is great but also easy to get to other great places in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Both Alex and Helen were so easy, friendly and helpful to communicate with from the start, and throughout my whole stay. They provided a detailed manual on the apartment and the area which was really helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back next time I visit and couldn’t recommend their place highly enough. Thanks Alex and Helen for having me! ”
