About our home

Beautiful, artsy house on a great block - truly an Urban Oasis. I have a large picture window that looks out onto the street in front and a lovely garden in the back. The house is 1 block from the subway so Manhattan access is easy. The neighborhood has tons of great restaurants and bars nearby and is a short walk to Prospect Park. It is also close to the Brooklyn Museum, Barclays Center, Brooklyn Bridge Park and the lovely Green-Wood Cemetery.

Some things to be aware of:
-I have 3 friendly kitties who will need care during your stay.

-There is a large building going up across the street which adds some construction noise during the day.

-The closet in the 2nd bedroom is available for guest use. The walk-in closet in the 1st bedroom will be full of my belongings so not available. Guests are welcome to use all kitchen appliances, pots & pans, dishes.

I will be out of town but always available to answer questions by phone, text or e-mail.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The neighborhood is great. It is called South Slope by some, Green-Wood Heights by others. It is a lively area with lots to see and do. The house is between 4th and 5th Avenues; 5th Avenue has tons of restaurants and cute shops and the subway is on 4th Ave and 17th St.

I am 1 block from the R train at the Prospect Ave. stop. There are buses that run along 5th Avenue as well as Citibike stations nearby for bike rentals. It is also a nice neighborhood for walking.
