About our home

We have a wonderful home on the water with a dock in Groton Long Point Connecticut, USA. We are located on the most beautiful harbor in New England. Sunrise often finds the harbor a mirror, reflecting the boats and homes across the way. Sunrise over the water is spectacular. There is great fishing, boating, biking and hiking. We completely rebuilt the house when we bought it in the 1990's. Loving to cook we installed a gourmet kitchen.
Our home owners Association has beaches, tennis courts, a putting green and a playground, all within a few blocks walk. We are close to many tourist attractions like the Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, old mansions in Newport, RI and Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos (two of the largest in the world). We are close to New London where ferries go to Block Island and the long island wine country. We are two hours from New York and Boston.
