House is small cape with open layout. House is 1800 square feet with large yard, garage and off-street parking.

The house is perfect for a retired couple or young couple, maybe with one small child it would still be comfortable. However, because of the open layout, it requires someone that enjoys open space to enjoy the house.

Working fireplace, hardwood floors throughout, updated kitchen and bathrooms. Bedroom window graces you with a dogwood tree that is stunning in the spring when it flowers, but equally beautiful with snow on its limbs. Lots of nature surrounds me- frequently see wild turkeys in my backyard, saw a hawk yesterday, many cardinals and blue jays as well.

Just 3 miles from downtown New Haven (I bike downtown) but am also on the public transport/bus line. House is located near Lake Whitney, right on the border of New Haven/Hamden but tucked behind Whitney Avenue so not on a busy road. Quiet neighborhood with young families, many neighbors have either direct or indirect affiliation with Yale University.

I am in the process of building a knowledge-based business -so I can work from anywhere there is internet! I am a single female with an itch to travel and explore. I can do long term or short term swaps, am very flexible on timelines as well. Having grown up in a family of 5, I learned to share early on in life!
