About our home

Our waterfront cottage sits on 7 secluded acres two miles from the tip of the Northern Neck. We have 360 feet of sandy beach looking northeast up 17 miles of open water. You can watch eagles soar and dolphins frolic from the long screened porch that runs across the front of the house. Ample lawns provide space for croquet, bocce, volleyball or touch football. Numerous perennial beds and comfortable chairs invite private space to enjoy a good book or pleasant conversation. A large raised bed vegetable garden supplies fresh vegetables in the growing season. If you can tear yourself away from the fabulous view, there are a number of local attractions, historic house and churches, quaint villages, and antique stores. We have three kayaks and a pedal boat, but if you are looking for more exciting water adventures, several local captains offer fishing charters. We make been making fabulous family memories here for almost 30 years.
