About our home

Our apartment has 1500 sf (around 140 sm). It is on the last floor of a 6th story elevator building with a gym, in front of the Columbus Park. It is very quiet and has an amazing view. We have 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Our suite has a closet, a king size bed and two office spaces. The second bedroom has a crib and a bed. We also have a double bed futon that can be placed on the second bedroom. We have a dinning space, a complete kitchen and a washer and dryer in the unit, as well as Internet and A/C.
The location and our house are perfect for kids – we have tons of toys and a huge park in front of our building. Restaurants, bars, a big supermarket and a CVS pharmacy store are just blocks away from our building.

OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD
Hoboken is known as the 6th borough of New York. It is located on the riverfront of the Hudson River, just across Chelsea and West Village. Living in Hoboken is like living in a small city within New York. The city has less than one square mile and everything is within walking distance – around 140 restaurants and bars, boutiques, two supermarkets, 17 parks, summer street fairs and two weekly farmer’s markets.
The city is full of young professionals and families. It is a hidden gem minutes away from Manhattan. We enjoy living in a quiet place so close to the big city. The bus trip to NYC takes 12-15 minutes (the bus station is located one block from our home). You can also take the ferry (7 minutes to cross the river) or the train (the trip takes around 12 minutes). You can walk to the ferry and Path station, or use our bikes. It is possible to bike to Manhattan, if you go by ferry. We have a kid’s seat for one of the bikes, if you need it.
If you want to enjoy Manhattan but also need to rest and be in a quiet and comfortable place, our apartment is for you.
During the summer there are several activities for kids and adults in Hoboken – there are shows in the park, performances for kids and even an outdoor movie screening at the Pier A Park, overlooking the beautiful Manhattan Skyline.
