“Bill and Barb were so very flexible about times and informative about their condo on a barrier island in a quiet resort location. Beach in walking distance, high speed internet, lots of information on the area available. Short drives to Charleston (20 minutes), 2 hours to Savannah, Hilton Head. Myrtle Beach. The history and architectural charm of this area is wonderful, the people are friendly, traffic is not daunting. We had a wonderful and restful three week break. Thank you Barb and Bill. You are wonderful people to work on an exchange with. May we meet again!”

Bill's reviews
As a host (4)“We had a great time at Isle of Palms although Feb 1 to 15 was a little early in the season. Bill and Barb are very kind and helpful on the phone and by e-mail and gave us great information. We haven't actually met them yet as they're coming to our home at Washington Crossing, PA later in the year. The condo was as advertised and is very convenient to Charleston. We saw a lot of plantations, there and in Savannah, Georgia, spent quite a lot of time walking on the beaches, bike riding, visiting restaurants and beautiful old homes. We strongly recommend Bill, Barb and their condo. We have had great swaps all over the world thanks to "Home for Exchange" and have met some amazing, kind, trusting and well-traveled friends. Hopefully, now we will be able to attach our review to the actual swap. ”
“This foodie, history loving, beach goer found Bill and Barb\'s condo in Isle of Palms had it all! Historical homes and sites were just a 30 minute drive away in beautiful Charleston, SC where we took advantage of the Preservation Society\'s home and garden tour in the South of Broad and East Battery neighborhoods. What a great opportunity to get inside some of those amazing, grand old homes! Charleston is known for it\'s many varied restaurants and we enjoyed some delicious seafood and southern cuisine there. But a vacation is also about relaxing. The beautiful beaches of Isle of Palms provided the sun, surf and sand to do just that. The condo is conveniently located just a short five minute walk from the beach. Bill and Barb provide beach chairs for their guests which is so helpful for visitors who flew into the area. In fact their hospitality was much appreciated from their great suggestions on things to do and see, to their clean comfortable home, and complimentary wine. The two bedroom/two bathroom condo had a split floor plan offering privacy for two couples sharing the place. The gated Wild Dunes Community where the condo is located is meticulously maintained and there\'s a pool and golf course in the community. Bike paths around the Isle of Palms and a nearby bike rental service makes exploring the Isle very convenient and safe. Bill and Barb were excellent folks to exchange homes with. They were easy to communicate with and took great care of our home. This exchange was a success and I recommend it for couples or a family who wants it all.”
“My husband and small daughter had a wonderful time at Bill and Barb's condo near Charleston. They were very helpful in planning our trip, gave us lots of excellent information about restaurants and things to do. We had a minor issue when we arrived, but Bob's brother was on hand and came over within minutes to help us out. We walked to the beautiful beach every day, went for shrimp right off the boat and enjoyed charming Charleston. We visited a plantation and had a wonderful overnight in Savannah. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and would love to go back again some day. I wouldn't hesitate to do an exchange with Barb and Bill!”
