Nestled on five acres among pine trees and blueberry
bushes, the hillside setting features a small pond with
minature lighthouse visable from west-facing windows.
Views include Mount Monadnock about two miles away,
grand 180 degree open view of skies and Rindge hills to
south. Numerous trails on property and contiguous to
60 acres of open space, variety of wildlife (turkey,
deer, fox, otter and birds). Although quiet and rural,
our center village is within earshot (church bells and
ball fields) but over 1 mile to shopping. The
Monadnock Region is known for its educational and
cultural resources as well as magnificant natural and
recreational tourism opportunities.
The seniors in the family, owners of the NH property,

and college golf team coach. She is a lactation
consultant and former childbirth educator. Both are
very active in church and community social service
activities. Our children and families may join us in a
home share situation for a week. Eldest daughter is a
attorney, her husband a physical therapist with a 4
year old boy, eldest son and wife are engineers in
Detroit area with a 4 year-old daughter, and recently
married youngest son is 2nd grade teacher, wife is a
public health consultant. Max= 8 adults and 2 children
if all were to vacation together, which is our wish!
